How this site earns
Last updated 2026-10-14.
InjuryWise is free to use and sells nothing. This page says plainly where its income comes from and how the enquiry form works, so you can weigh what you read.
The enquiry form
Every tool page, every guide and the ask a solicitor page carry a short form. It asks what the enquiry is about, when it happened, and how to reach you; it never asks what happened to you, for a respondent’s name, or for anything you typed into a tool. With your consent, and only then, those details go to one partner solicitor firm regulated by the Law Society of Ireland, which contacts you. Nothing goes to the Injuries Resolution Board, an insurer or any court. The form is written as if the Legal Services Regulatory Authority’s Advertising Regulations 2020 applied to it: it does not solicit or encourage a claim, uses none of the phrases those regulations forbid, states no success rate, and names section 149 of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 wherever fees are mentioned. “Just researching” is a fine answer, and an enquiry carries no obligation.
The partner firm and how it pays
No firm is signed yet. Until one is, enquiries are forwarded to Codable Labs Ltd only and are not passed on. When a firm is signed it will be named here, in the form’s consent sentence and in a quiet footer line. The intended arrangement is a fixed monthly sponsorship that does not vary with readers or enquiries (Solicitors Act 1954, section 62), with the firm’s own advertising-compliance partner signing off the wording against the 2020 Regulations in writing.
The sponsoring firm
No sponsor is signed yet. When one is, it will be named here and in a quiet footer line, and nowhere else. The arrangement will be a fixed monthly sponsorship that does not vary with readers or enquiries, with the firm’s own advertising-compliance partner signing off the wording against the 2020 Regulations in writing. There is no tracking of who reads which guide.
Respondent-side insurance
Public-liability, employer’s-liability and legal-expenses insurance brokers may appear on labelled affiliate placements in the chapter for people a claim is made against, and nowhere else, with the Board’s free respondent pages always linked beside them. None exists at the date above.
What never changes
- No payment affects what the guides say. Content is written from the official sources named on each page.
- No tool produces a figure for a claim, no page uses the words the advertising rules ban, and no sponsor’s copy states a success rate or quotes an award.
- The figures register is editorial, not partner copy.
- Never: claims-management companies, medical-report mills, “calculators” that promise a figure, or any placement that references an award figure.
Other income, when it exists
- A labelled placement from a regulated income-protection adviser or broker on the Injury Benefit and loss-of-earnings pages.
- Physiotherapy and rehabilitation: declined for now, because a clinic placement beside the injury checker would look like treatment steering.
- Display advertising only at a floor, and only once the site is large enough; none at launch.
None of these exists at the date above. Each will be listed here when it does.
