InjuryWise is designed so that almost nothing about you reaches it. This page says exactly what is collected, why, and how to have it removed. The data controller is Codable Labs Ltd, Ireland.
The tools
Every tool runs in your browser. The dates, figures and answers you type are never sent to this site’s servers, and no tool asks what happened to you, for a respondent’s name, or for a document. The Board timeline planner and the special damages worksheet keep your entries in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab. If you copy a share link, your inputs are encoded in the part of the address after the # sign, which browsers do not send to any server and which analytics never records. The letter builder’s text is never stored. Nothing is sent to the Board, to an insurer or to any court.
The email reminder
The time-limit checker offers a calendar file that stays on your device. If you instead ask to be emailed, the site stores your email address, the reminder date (the two-year date less 90 days), and the kind of claim, and nothing else: not the accident date, not anything else you typed. One email is sent on that day and the record is then deleted. The legal basis is your consent. The record is stored in a database hosted by Supabase in the EU on Codable Labs Ltd’s instructions, and is shared with nobody.
The solicitor enquiry form
If you send an enquiry, the site stores your name, your email address, what the enquiry is about (one of the options you tap), when it happened (one of the options), how you want to be contacted, the page you sent it from, a phone number only if you give one or ask for a call, and, if you choose to write one, a sentence or two in your own words. It never asks for a respondent’s name or for anything you typed into a tool, and the form asks you to leave names and identifiers out of what you write. With your consent, given by ticking the box, those details are shared with the one partner solicitor firm named in the consent sentence and on the disclosure page, so that it can contact you; until a firm is named they are forwarded to Codable Labs Ltd only. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Enquiries are kept for twelve months and then deleted.
Analytics
The site uses Plausible, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and a handful of events: “letter built” on the letter builder, and the enquiry form being seen, started, sent, or reached from a prompt. An event carries the page and the option tapped, never a name, an email, a date or anything typed. No tool inputs and no URL fragments are recorded. No consent banner is needed because no cookies are set and no identifier is stored on your device. The sponsor and the partner firm receive no data about readers beyond the enquiries people choose to send.
Retention and your rights
A reminder record is deleted once the email is sent, or sooner if you ask. An enquiry is deleted after twelve months, or sooner if you ask. You can ask for a copy of what is held, a correction, or deletion by writing to privacy@injurywise.ie, or by replying to the solicitor’s message. You can complain to the Data Protection Commission if you are unhappy with how your data has been handled.
Hosting
The site is served from Cloudflare’s network. Reminders and enquiries are stored by Supabase in the EU and sent by email through Resend. These providers process data on Codable Labs Ltd’s instructions only. How the site earns is on the disclosure page.
